With a core purpose of Making Lives Better, Nurse Next Door Home Care Services Caboolture focuses on empowering locals to live in their own homes, on their own terms, regardless of age or ability.
Led by Caboolture local, and Managing Director, Ross Matthews, the team has built a culture of person-centred care.
Ross and his Bold Pink team embrace this as they encourage clients to lead lives filled with Positivity, Possibility and Purpose.
Among those bringing this vision to life are Care Designers, and Registered Nurses, Tanya Liddle and Susan Vidler, whose compassion and years of experience shapes every client’s care journey.
After starting in aged care, Tanya became a Registered Nurse driven by a desire to advocate for others.
“In hospitals, you don’t get time to truly connect,” she says.
“In community care and nursing, you can make a lasting difference.”
One of her most moving moments was supporting a client to reconnect with their family after twenty years apart.
Tanya loves that Nurse Next Door encourages her to care in a way that feels authentic.
For more than thirty-five years, Sue has cared for clients across aged care, disability and hospitals, but community nursing remains her greatest passion.
“At home, you see who people really are,” she says.
“It’s more than just providing care, you learn about their lives, their passions and encourage them to tick things off their bucket list.”
Sue credits Nurse Next Door’s culture for reigniting her joy in nursing and giving her the freedom to care her way.
Supported by a team that Admires People, Tanya and Sue are examples of what it means to be locals looking after locals.
