Kilcoy is gearing up for a festive night of colour, music and community cheer, with the 2025 Kilcoy Christmas Carnival set to return to Seib Street on Saturday, 6 December from 5:30pm.

The much-loved event will once again deliver a full evening of entertainment for families, highlighted by performances from the KC Dancers and the Burnett Celtic Pipes & Drums, who will bring their signature sound to the celebrations.

Crowd favourites will roam the precinct throughout the night, with fire twirlers, stilt walkers, balloon artists and local performers adding to the carnival atmosphere, including a special visit from Santa himself.

One of the biggest drawcards each year — the free rides — will also be back, thanks to the ongoing support of generous community sponsors. Families can look forward to enjoying a jumping castle, a big slide, tea cups, Chair-O-Plane, Sizzler, and Body Rock.

Organisers say keeping rides free is a core part of making the carnival accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

“Providing these rides at no cost to the community, making it an inclusive and equitable experience, is a priority for us,” they said.

The Christmas favourite will also feature food stalls, markets, community groups and, of course, a visit from Santa himself before the night ends with a fireworks finale.

Kilcoy locals are encouraged to bring their festive spirit, gather the family, and join the fun from 5:30pm on Saturday, 6 December.
