Beachmere roadworks

A section of road on Caboolture-Beachmere Road will continue to be closed for an additional three weeks, due to damages of the heavy rainfall on January 30.

Transport and Main Roads (TMR) Minister, Bart Mellish, said the road would be closed between Hickey Road and Adcock Road.

The section was recently closed to allow the road pavement to dry out, and to carry out necessary repairs.

TMR is working with City of Moreton Bay Council to allow all other traffic to be diverted via Peel Road.

TMR will notify affected residents, and readers can check the status of the road via the QLDTraffic website, or by calling TMR on 13 19 40.
