Big boost for Blair disability jobs services
TWENTY-FOUR organisations will share in $5.5bn of national Government funding to provide better employment services in Blair for people with disability, injury and long-term illnesses through the establishment of Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA).

Replacing the Disability Employment Services (DES) program, IEA recognised that people with disability may be at different stages of their employment journey and that a one-size-fits-all approach does not work.
The new specialist disability employment program will replace the DES program from November 1, 2025, and will mean more support for providers to help an extra 15,000 people with disability find a job that they love.
The reforms are based on consultation over the past two years with people with disability, disability representative organisations and disability employment providers.
Federal Member for Blair, Shayne Neumann, said IEA aligns with the Government’s vision of a more inclusive future, where people with disability, as well as those with injuries or health conditions, can get the support they need to find work and progress in their careers.
In Blair, 13 providers who operate under the current DES program will carry over into IEA: WISE Employment; APM Employment Services; AtWork Australia; CPL - Choice, Passion, Life; Help Enterprises; CoAct; MatchWorks; The Salvation Army Employment Plus; Breakthru; Campbell Page; Inclusive Employment by Ontime; Sign For Work; and Jobsupport.
Eleven new providers have joined the program.
