Blending horticulture and homegrown flavour
Queensland’s premier gardening event, the Queensland Garden Show, returns to the Nambour Showgrounds from July 11 to 13, 2025, offering a vibrant mix of horticultural displays, expert-led demonstrations, and culinary experiences.

This three-day festival invites gardening enthusiasts of all levels to explore a world of plants, expert advice, and garden inspiration.
A standout feature this year is the Giant Kitchen Garden, an interactive space showcasing innovative edible gardening ideas. Designed for both novice and seasoned gardeners, it focuses on sustainable practices and creative planting solutions.
The Cook’s Garden Stage will host live cooking demonstrations, blending gardening with gastronomy. These sessions offer practical tips on using homegrown produce and incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients into everyday meals.
More than 100 free talks and demonstrations will run across five live stages, covering topics such as sustainable gardening and floral design. Notable presenters include Gardening Australia’s Costa Georgiadis and Jerry Coleby-Williams.
The show spans over seven hectares and features more than 360 exhibitors, including 55 nurseries. Around 50,000 plants will be available for sale each day, from colourful flowers to hardy natives and exotic varieties.
In addition to plants, the event includes garden displays, marketplace stalls, and gardening accessories. Family-friendly activities and entertainment will also be on offer, making it a true community celebration of gardening and outdoor living.
Ticket prices are $26.50 for adults and $23.50 for pensioners. Children aged 15 and under enter free. A three-day pass is available for $65, and parking is $10 per vehicle.
Tickets can be purchased online via the official Queensland Garden Show website.
Whether you're an experienced gardener or just starting out, the Queensland Garden Show offers inspiration, knowledge, and plenty of green-thumb fun.
