Brew, bloom and brunch
CABOOLTURE Square welcomed a new destination for food lovers with the grand opening of the new Café 63 on Thursday, October 9.
Famed for its extensive all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and reputation as a neighbourhood gathering spot, Café 63 has become a staple across Queensland and beyond.
The new Caboolture Square location continues this tradition, welcoming guests from 5:30am to 9:00pm for a wide variety of meals, specialty coffees, fresh flowers, a nice drink and friendly service.
Owner Gaju Chhetri, a hospitality veteran originally from Nepal and a graduate of culinary studies in Singapore, brings over 17 years of global culinary experience.
After graduating under a well-renowned chef in Singapore, Gaju moved to Abu Dhabi, where he had the opportunity to further his career, working at the world-renowned luxury hotel Emirates Palace.
During his time there, he had the chance to cook for royal delegations and, later on while at Ritz Carlton, for world leaders such as President Obama and President Trump.
Eventually, Gaju decided to bring his global expertise to Australia to learn more about local culture and food, having had the opportunity to work at 5-star hotels Callie and Amora.
After five years, Gaju and his wife, Sanskriti, decided to open their own businesses, with the new Caboolture café now delivering a menu that balances international flair with the familiar comfort that Café 63 customers have come to love.
Patrons can look forward to breakfast classics, hearty lunches, and delicious dinners alongside a range of drinks (including wine and other alcoholic beverages, except cocktails).
“Café 63 is all about serving good, simple food and great coffee to the community in a welcoming setting,” Gaju said.
“Our first day in Caboolture Square has already been very successful, with people coming and supporting. I love it.”
The menu at Café 63 is designed in partnership with the brand’s head office and is complemented by training support to ensure high standards are met.
The café is also known for its in-house floral displays and gift bouquets, adding a colourful touch to every visit.
With welcoming staff, extended opening hours, and a reputation for supporting local communities, Café 63 at Caboolture Square is set to become the suburb’s new favourite meeting spot.
