Brushstrokes of brilliance at Burpengary’s new exhibit
THE Artisans’ Guild of Caboolture and District Inc 2025 Members Exhibition officially opened on October 1, marking the start of a month-long celebration of the region’s finest artistic talent.

This hallmark event, held at the Artisans’ Guild Gallery in Burpengary East, promises a vibrant showcase of creativity, craftsmanship, and community spirit.
With over 300 entries spanning a wide range of artistic mediums—including painting, sculpture, and finely crafted textiles—the exhibition offers something for everyone.
Guild President, Claire Morgan, said there is something for everyone, with a very wide diversity of subject matter and skill levels.
“The quality is just really high and very, very diverse. Every piece entered tells a story of dedication, skill, and creativity. The calibre of work we see each year is simply outstanding,” she said.
For decades, the Guild has nurtured and championed local talent, bringing together members from across Moreton Bay, including Caboolture, Burpengary, and Deception Bay.
“I’ve seen a huge improvement in the skill level of all our members in the time I’ve been here,” Ms Morgan said.
“People are getting more adventurous in what they’re doing, and having a competition like this helps encourage people to think outside the square and do something a little bit different.”
While the awards night was exclusive to Guild members, the public is invited to view the winning works throughout October 2025 at the Guild’s gallery.
Nearly all pieces are available for purchase, offering visitors a unique opportunity to take home a piece of local artistry.
“Come and have a look at our 100 per cent Australian made goodies, art and craft, all handmade by our members,” Ms Morgan said.
“You never know what little Christmas presents you might find, or something for that empty space on the wall.”
Beyond the art itself, the Guild fosters a supportive and social environment.
“We’ve got quite a few that don’t have partners, and I think it helps to fill that void,” Ms Morgan explained.
“Our guild is quite special. It’s very social based, probably more than competitive.
“There’s always someone here that will help you improve your skills.”
Whether you’re an art collector, a lover of fine craftsmanship, or simply curious about what sets an award-winning piece apart, the Artisans’ Guild Gallery at 1-17 Maitland Road, Burpengary East, is the place to visit this October.
