Caboolture woman dies following stabbing
Multiple paramedics attended a residence on Short Street, Caboolture at 8.35pm on Wednesday, May 18, where a woman in her 20s sustained multiple stab wounds.
The woman was rushed to Caboolture Hospital in a critical condition, however she later died as a result of her injuries.
About two hours after the alleged wounding, police pursued a ‘vehicle of interest’ on the Bruce Highway, travelling northbound near the Sunshine Coast.
The vehicle crashed and a man, aged 29, was taken into police custody.
