Doggo Trot woofs back

WOODFORD dog lovers, rejoice – the Doggo Trot is back! After a lengthy break, the popular community dog walk is returning with a slightly new format on Saturday, September 20.

Participants are asked to meet at the Woodford Pool at 4pm, leash up their furry friends, and enjoy an hour-long stroll through the local forestry.

The walk concludes at Woodford Gardens, where dogs are welcome and humans can enjoy a drink from the bar or a meal from the dinner menu.

Organiser Ang Dähn said Doggo Trot is more than just a walk – it’s a way for newcomers and long-time residents to socialise in an otherwise quiet area.

“A lot of the people that come to the dog walk are new to the area and it’s a way for them to get to know other people,” she said.
