Fashionable Kilcoy races
There was much more to the Kilcoy Cup than horseracing and mini trots, as there was a hive of activity at the Kilcoy Race Club last Sunday.
Best couple winner: Barbara and Thomas Thompson at the Kilcoy Cup race meet.
A range of stylish outfi ts were on display as Fashions on the Field drew plenty of interest, while the Cox Plate was another attraction.
Moonee Valley Racing Club and Ladbrokes arranged for this year’s Cox Plate to be viewed, with a number of patrons at Kilcoy taking the chance to hold the prized plate.
Those to hold the plate included photographer and NSW State of Origin fan Darren Winningham, who caused a stir by wearing his sky blue jersey.
