Five-goal haul for Cramm
THE Caboolture Sports FC (CSFC) women’s teams maintained their winning form as they trounced the Ipswich City Bulls in last Saturday’s fixtures at Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex.
The CSFC senior team remained in second place on the competition ladder following a 4-0 win.
Madison Franke scored a double while Jear Cochrane and Lauren Gynther scored one goal each.
In the U23 match, Arabella Cramm scored all of the goals as the hosts prevailed 5-0, to notch their eighth victory from eight games this season.
Cramm also scored three goals the previous Saturday, in an 11-0 win over North Star.
In her first season with CSFC after previously playing for Narangba, Cramm said five goals was one of her biggest hauls.
Usually a winger or an attacking midfielder/playmaker, Cramm played at striker last Saturday as Jill Kosseris and Beau Acworth didn’t play after they were among the scorers against North Star.
Cramm said the win over Ipswich was a team effort rather than all about her goal scoring.
“The team did pretty good passing. It was good to watch the replays of that,” she said.
Cramm said she was ready for the ball while Sam Koessler, Isabelle Litchfield and Shei Kastelan backed her up and had good games.
Cramm said she was enjoying her time with CSFC as it was “definitely great to make new friends”.
CSFC’s training has been “pretty intense” and “pretty full on”, with Cramm saying the women’s teams often trained as a big squad, and that Monday’s training involved the women’s and men’s teams.
