Have say on koalas

KOALA Action Inc (KAI) is inviting the community to its Annual General Meeting at the Caboolture Regional Environmental and Education Centre (CREEC), 150 Rowley Road, Burpengary, on Saturday, October 18, from 10am.

Locals passionate about protecting the region’s koala population are encouraged to attend, hear about KAI’s work, and learn more about the challenges facing koalas in South East Queensland.

Following the AGM, Dr Michelle Maloney from the Australian Earth Laws Alliance (AELA) will deliver a special presentation. An earth lawyer and advocate for ecocentric and nature-based governance, Dr Maloney will share insights into new approaches to conservation.

Morning tea will be provided, and experienced volunteers will be available to answer questions. Membership forms will also be on hand for those wishing to join KAI’s efforts. Special parking arrangements can be made by contacting the Secretary on 5438 7537.
