The Urgent Care unit at the Health hub Morayfield remained closed through the looming weekend, with Queensland Health showing no interest in reaching a funding agreement.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said the decision to end the agreement was made after ‘an independent evaluation’, and the centre was ‘largely’ a federal government issue.
