Highway to close, rescue underway
The D'Aguilar Highway will be closed to westbound traffic at Woodford, as emergency services attend a rescue drama at Stoney Creek.
More roads are being closed as TMR prepares to close the D'Aguilar Highway west of Woodford.
While details are still emerging, it is understood emergency services are onsite at Stoney Creek, conducting a swift water rescue.
As the Stanley River and other waterways continue to rise, TMR is preparing to close the D'Aguilar Highway, to prevent any incidents.
