Kilcoy RSL Sub Branch Anzac Day Services and Events For 2021
The 106th anniversary of ANZAC is fast approaching!
ROAD CLOSURE
To celebrate this historical event in the manner it deserves, we would like to advise the public that the Eastern side of McCauley Street, between Kennedy Street and the Fire Station, will be closed from 12:00pm Saturday 24th April 2021 to enable the Sub Branch to erect marquees in preparation for the services to be performed on 25 April 2021.
MAIN SERVICE
The MAIN SERVICE will commence at 11:00am again at the Memorial Wall.
Prior to the service we ask all organisations and personnel participating in the ANZAC Day march to assemble (place to be advised at a later date due to roadworks) where one of our parade marshalls, who will be wearing a high visibility vest, will direct you to your starting point.
We ask that you assemble by 10:15am for a 10:30am start.
We would then appreciate everyone being seated so the service can commence on time.
The procession will be then represented by participating schools, sporting clubs, community organisations, Aloaka bus with ex service personnel, RSL Women’s Auxiliary, ex-service driven, ex-service marching.
We expect a very large turnout by the public this year and appreciate your support in coming along to join us on this very sombre and historical occasion.
If any member of the public have any enquiries about ANZAC Day please contact the Sub Branch on 5422 0564 on any Wednesday morning or 0405 392 461 on any other day.
