Kilcoy RSL to Honour Korean Veterans with service
The Kilcoy RSL Sub Branch will host a Korean Veterans Day service on Sunday, July 27, at 11am at the Kilcoy Memorial Wall, located at the corner of Kennedy and McCauley Streets.

The ceremony will honour the service and sacrifice of Australians who served in the Korean War.
Following the service, attendees are invited to a light lunch in the Sub Branch rooms. Those planning to attend are asked to notify the Sub Branch of any dietary requirements by contacting 5422 0564 or emailing info@kilcoy.rslqld.net.au.
In the lead-up to the event, Kilcoy RSL Sub Branch has also continued its support for Legacy, presenting two donations raised during the Anzac Day period. Treasurer Dutchy Vandeklashorst presented a $500 donation to May Wallace, a representative of the Kilcoy Legacy Group. Vice President Jock Ruthven also presented a separate donation of $750 to Kerry Morrow, representing Queensland Legacy.
Both donations reflect the Sub Branch’s ongoing commitment to supporting the families of fallen and injured veterans, with funds raised through community contributions during local Anzac Day commemorations.
The upcoming Korean Veterans Day service is another opportunity for the Kilcoy community to show its gratitude to those who served in past conflicts and to honour the legacy of Australia’s service men and women.
