Launch day for Wamuran Community Playgroup
The Wamuran Community Playgroup will stage a launch day at Wamuran State School from 9.30am to 11am on Monday, July 24.
The launch day has been organised to promote and celebrate a new playgroup coming to the region, and it will be followed by fortnightly playgroup sessions at the same time and place from August 1.
A local coffee van, activities and treats will be on offer at the launch day, which will be a great opportunity for families to meet the playgroup facilitators and register to Play Matters, which Wamuran Community Playgroup has registered with.
All participants are required to sign up before attending the sessions.
The purpose of the playgroup is to bring parents/ carers/guardians together in a supporting environment, allowing them to make meaningful connections.
Child development information will be provided at each session with a professional in attendance, such as an early childhood educator, health nurse, or someone from The Benevolent Society.
Other guests will include Beaumont Care, Waminda, and local elders.
