Lowood secondary school ready to mark four decades
Current and former students and staff from Lowood State High School will converge at the school from 3.30pm to 6.30pm on Thursday May 11 for the school’s 40-year anniversary.
Lowood State High School turns 40 this year, and will mark the occasion with an anniversary event on Thursday May 11.
A number of past teachers and principals have said they will attend, while students from each grade this year will be involved in the activities.
A barbecue and refreshments will be provided by the hospitality department, and there will be performances from the dance troupe and vocal ensemble.
The school band will also provide entertainment while there will also be curriculum and market stalls, and tours of the school.
Highlights will include the unveiling of a mural.
Attendees are welcome without needing to notify the school beforehand.
