Major League Indoor Cricket Grand Final at Caboolture
THE over 35s, over 45s and under 22s zone indoor cricket tournament was held at the Caboolture Indoor Sports Centre recently, bringing the seven-month-long season to a close.
For the under 22s, player of the final was Jude Kearney (North Brisbane), and player of the series was Toby Collins (South Brisbane).
Teams from 10 centres across the Southeast Qld Major League Indoor Cricket competition competed in the three-day grand final tournament from September 16 to 18.
Director of Caboolture Indoor Sports Centre Tony Joyce said that over the weekend, players from each age group were also selected to represent Queensland in the 2023 Nationals tournament.
Grand final results were:
U22s North Brisbane vs South Brisbane – 127-88.
Over 35s Gold Coast vs South Brisbane – 66-64.
Over 45s Central Brisbane vs North Brisbane – 118-76.
