Mullet mania to descend on Woodford Rodeo
The much-anticipated Woodford Rodeo 2024 is back this Saturday, February 24, introducing a mullet competition with the proceeds going to the Jackson Hepner Foundation.
The rodeo will also introduce a ute competition alongside traditional bull riding, saddle riding, bareback riding, barrel racing and steer wrestling.
This year’s event will also have a new layout allowing for a more open and free-flowing space.
The entire event arena will be a liquor-licensed space, meaning guests won’t be restricted to consuming alcohol in specific locations.
Ute and camping entries will be allowed from 12pm, with gates opening for the general public at 2pm, at the Woodford Showgrounds. The rodeo will begin at 3pm.
This is the first Woodford Rodeo in four years and promises loads of fun with food stalls, bars and DJ Richter hosting the after party.
No BYO alcohol permitted and children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
