For four hours the rural town attracted not just locals, but people from all across the world.

Performances were put on by representatives of Papua New Guinea, Fiji, East Timor, Jinibara First Nations People, Philippines, China, Japan, Scotland, West Africa, and Vanuatu.

Aside from the performers, many travellers flocked to the carnival, including Brisbane residents from South Korea and Filipino holidayers.

There were heaps of activities on to show off and teach the attendees about various cultures, including a West African drum class by Rhythm Culture, and a Japanese lantern workshop for little ones, along with great food.

Many Somerset councillors were also present, including Mayor Jason Wendt, Cr Kylee Isidro and Cr Michael Bishop.
