Narangba Valley serves up thanks for teachers
NARANGBA Valley High School celebrated its teachers in style last week, hosting a special BBQ breakfast in honour of World Teacher Appreciation Day on October 22.
The event was a heartfelt tribute organised by Corey and the Student Leaders, P&C Association, and School Administration to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the school’s teachers.
Attendees enjoyed a delicious spread including fruit salad, bacon and egg burgers, barista-made coffees, and savoury treats.
The celebrations also featured an exciting prize draw as a way to thank teachers for their ongoing commitment to student success.
Federal Member for Longman, Terry Young, donated the funds to support the BBQ and actively took part in the event by cooking alongside the student leaders and serving the teachers, showing his appreciation firsthand.
“This was a fantastic opportunity to acknowledge the incredible contribution teachers make every day,” Mr Young said.
“It was a pleasure to help celebrate their commitment in such a warm and vibrant way.”
World Teacher Appreciation Day highlights the importance of education and honours educators worldwide for their passion, dedication, and positive influence on future generations.
The event showcased the strong community spirit at Narangba Valley High School and the importance of recognising educators who shape the future.
