New carpark underway
ATTAIN Civil contractors began work on the new Aston Park Carpark, the first major piece of construction work for the Kilcoy Streetscape Revitalisation project, on Monday, September 22.

Kilcoy Streetscape Advisory Committee member, Somerset Councillor Tiara Hurley, said the new carpark and landscaping would create an inviting rest area for residents and people visiting the town.
“The new Aston Park precinct is key to progressing the Kilcoy Streetscape Revitalisation project, creating a welcoming town entry for the northern gateway to the Somerset region,” Cr Hurley said.
“We look forward to seeing the precinct taking shape.”
This project is funded through the Australian Government’s SEQ Liveability Fund, Queensland Government, Somerset Council and forms part of the SEQ City Deal.
Works are expected to be completed by December 2025, weather permitting.
