The 2-storey learning centre will have 8 classrooms and feature outdoor learning areas, practical learning areas, staff facilities and amenities. Included in works at the school are refurbishments to 3 teaching blocks, to modernise the rooms and increase classroom sizes.

In keeping with the school’s 93-year tradition of community connection, the project is involving local businesses and workers, and is also boosting training hours for tradespeople and apprentices. Work on the new learning centre is expected to be completed in August 2023, and refurbishments are likely to finish in early 2024.
