Numbers sought for annual Villeneuve/Neurum reunion
PEOPLE with links to Villeneuve or Neurum are invited to the 42nd Villeneuve/ Neurum Get-together at the Woodford Museum on Sunday, August 28.
Attendees will include past and present residents of Villeneuve and Neurum, as well as descendants of past residents, former students of Villeneuve or Neurum Creek State Schools, and their descendants.
Anyone attending is asked to bring photographs and any other memorabilia that they would like to display.
The Woodford Historical Society and Kilcoy District Historical Society will have displays, and guest speakers will be Dr Denver Beanland (AM) and Dr Margaret Kowald.
Last year’s event included several people who attended Villeneuve State School in the 1940s and 1950s, and there was also Neville Green whose enrolment year was 1937.
Proceedings begin at 10.30am, and a light lunch will be provided.
