PM in surprise Woodford visit
Prime Minister Scott Morrison made a surprise visit to Woodford on Saturday, with many locals unaware of his impending arrival.
PM Scott Morrison and wife Jenny paid a casual visit to Woodford on Saturday morning
The PM, along with his wife Jenny, met with Terry Young, Federal MP for Longman, before a street walk, visiting a number of businesses.
Mr and Mrs Morrison also took the time to 'meet and greet' locals along the way, before a stop at the Woodford Hotel.
Mr Morrison's visit lends weight to rumours of the Federal Election being weeks away, with Longman one of the most marginal Federal electorates and the government keen to secure Mr Young's future.
