Redcliffe Hospital expansion

$14.8 million in the 2023-24 State Budget be spent on a major expansion of the Redcliffe Hospital, which will include a new clinical services building, ambulatory care services building, and refurbishment of the existing hospital to deliver additional capacity across clinical support and facility support services.

The Redcliffe Hospital Expansion is expected to deliver 204 additional beds and support more than 2,500 construction jobs. It is due to be completed in the second half of 2028. This major expansion will significantly increase the care offered across the range of inpatient and outpatient services at the hospital. Part of the Capacity Expansion Program.
