Showers forecast for Thursday
Showers are expected in the Moreton and Somerset area on Thursday, after the rain held off throughout much of the region on Wednesday.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) revealed that no rain fell from Caboolture through to Esk as of 4pm on Wednesday, while nearly 40mm of rain fell between 9am and 4pm in Fernvale and Lowood.
Temperatures are set to range from 25 to 27 degrees from Caboolture through to Kilcoy and Lowood on Thursday, with anything from 4mm to 15mm of rain expected.
