Take a seat for dementia
Lowood Lions dedicated a bench seat at the old Lowood Railway station to support people living with dementia.
This was a true community effort, featuring a monetary donation from Lowood Slimmers. The seat was built by members of the Somerset community Men’s Shed and installed by members of the Lowood Lions Club. The dedication was followed by a morning tea at the gallery.
The Lowood Friendship Group meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the gallery at 9:30 am.
