Vibrant Lion Dancers
At 11 am, the festival will erupt with colour and energy with vibrant lion dancers. Their lively performance, accompanied by the rhythmic beating of drums and cymbals, symbolises good fortune and prosperity. It’s a sight that captivates both young and old, setting an uplifting mood and joyful tone to DragonFest.
The Thrill of the Race
As the day progresses, the atmosphere will be charged with excitement as dragon boat teams hit the water. The sound of drums will echo across the Pumicestone Passage, driving the rhythm and determination of the paddlers. Each team will be vying for the coveted title of Winner of the Pumicestone DragonFest 2025, making for thrilling races that are not to be missed.
