Tree to light up Kilcoy this Friday
THE “turning on of the lights” in Yowie Park will take place at 6.30pm this Friday (December 3), after wet weather forced a delay to the original plan.
The lights on the newly installed six-metre tall Christmas tree were scheduled to be turned on at 6.30pm on Wednesday (December 1), but rainy conditions prompted the Kilcoy and District Progress Alliance to postpone the event for 48 hours.
Additionally, a free sausage sizzle will take place from 5.30pm at Yowie Park this Friday.
