Tropicana Classic starts Sunday

The Tropicana Classic – presented by the Australian Equine Institute – will take place at the Caboolture-based Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC) from this Sunday (July 2) to the following Sunday.

The Tropicana Classic holds a range of events that showcases the versatility of the Quarter Horse, Paint Horse and Appaloosa, along with numerous other breeds including thoroughbreds and stock horses.

The Classic covers everything from western performance, English, hack, reining, barrel racing, cow horse, western dressage, and versatility ranch events.

Riders will come from all around the country, after there were more than 350 horses at last year’s competition which ran for five days.

Entry is free for all spectators, with the events starting at 8am each day while nightly competition and entertainment kicks off at 6pm on Sunday, Tuesday, and from Wednesday to Saturday.
