Two-hour power outage affects Moreton Bay
Energex crews attended to the suburbs of Burpengary, Narangba and Deception Bay this morning, as 1737 customers were without power in the Moreton Bay Regional area.
A spokesperson from Energex said the power went off at 6.22am and was back on at 8.23am.
The spokesperson said the power outage occurred as there was an equipment failure on the overhead network, while the cause was unknown.
