Wam Fam fest returns for annual fun this month
WAMURAN is set to come alive on September 27, as the region’s best produce, creative makers, and live music come to the F.A.M (Food Art Music) Festival.
Running from 9am to 1pm at the Wamuran Sports Complex, the free festival promises a feast for the senses.
Attendees can fill their picnic baskets with fresh, local produce including fruits, vegetables, cheeses, honey, and more, straight from the paddock.
The festival also showcases the region’s talented artists and makers, offering everything from paintings and sculptures to jewellery and textiles.
Visitors can meet the creators, learn about their craft, and support local businesses by taking home a unique piece of art.
Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, a lineup of local musicians will perform on the Main Stage, providing the perfect soundtrack for a morning of shopping and sampling delicious eats, with food trucks also on site for those craving a quick bite.
Local highlights include Basilea Living Herbs & Edible Flowers, Eco Bamboo Australia, Kerri’s Kitchen, Wamuran Honey, Mallory Tocino Jerky, and Openness Loose Leaf Tea, among others.
Festival-goers can also visit The Learning Lounge to hear producers share their stories and insights into their craft.
With hands-on demonstrations, interactive displays, and the opportunity to support small local businesses, the festival not only entertains but also highlights the creativity, dedication, and spirit that makes Wamuran a vibrant hub.
