Wamuran Christmas Carnival cancelled
Due to the current weather conditions, the Lions Club of Wamuran Inc. have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the Wamuran Christmas Carnival.
In a Facebook post, they explained that the grounds are already too wet and the forecast suggests the rain will not slow down before Friday December 2, when the event was scheduled to be held.
They said they are planning to hold an alternative event in either March or April next year.
The decision to cancel the event was made on Wednesday evening.
